In order to proceed with the abstract submission, your agreements with the following statements are required.

All authors are aware that their names appear on this abstract.

The presenting author must register as an active participant at the congress at the latest 14 days after acceptance of an abstract.

The FEMS2023 Congress Secretariat reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration at the latest 14 days after notification of acceptance.

If accepted for poster presentation, the presenting author agrees to present their poster according to the poster guidelines that will be communicated by email, or it will be withdrawn.

If accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author agrees to present the abstract during the scheduled time/date and/or upload all presentation files by the May 22, 2023 deadline or their abstract will be withdrawn.

The presenting author will keep FEMS informed of any changes to the contact information provided.

In order to be considered for a FEMS Congress Attendance Grant or FEMS-ASM Mäkelä-Cassell Travel Award for Early Career Scientists the submitter must have a complete, accepted abstract. However, this does not guarantee a FEMS Congress Attendance Grant, the awardee will only be eligible for one.

I understand that if this abstract is accepted, FEMS will own the rights to any electronic or print compilation of conference abstracts, as outlined in FEMS Copyright Policy.
