Presentations

Estensis/CTIMeetingTech is FEMS’ partner for presentation management. You will receive an email from them (noreply@ctimeetingtech.com) with instructions on how to upload your presentation in advance of the event. Please add this email address to your safe senders, so that you will not miss the email! Once you have uploaded your presentation, it will automatically be available in the session room for presenting. 

Please be present in your session room at least 10 minutes before your session starts. If a presenter is absent, the chair may decide to continue with the next speaker, therefore it is important that you are present the entire session.  

Depending on the session type, your presentation will be as follows:

• Symposium: your presentation will be 25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion
• Offered Talks Session: your presentation will be 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion
• Flash Poster Presentation: your presentation will be 3 minutes, followed by a 2-minute discussion (please limit your presentation to only 3 slides)
• Industry Symposium: your presentation will be 30 minutes, including discussion

The FEMS Congress is the place to meet peers, discuss your research and to engage with presenters as well as attendees. We would encourage you to offer an interactive experience for attendees by engaging in discussions of the other speakers in your session, and to be open to questions during and after your presentation. You can use your presentation, but also your profile in the congress app to share details of how people can contact you after the session.  

Presenters of OTS or Flash Presentations that have additional handouts or accompanying information that they would like to share with delegates, can to upload a PDF file to the Congress App. Instructions regarding this option have been shared via email .
